I beat the rabbits and squirrels this year by by way of a (much too small) greenhouse!

Wow - I'd have thought tomatoes would have been long spent by this time of year in your neck of the woods. Ours just petered out last week, a bit early for central NC, but we've had some unusually cool weather. My greenhouse is 4X6, with broccoli, romaine, and bitter raspberry greens. Cabbage, spinach, and lettuce in raised exposed planters and pots.
