Back in the saddle...

First things first, the PL files for their fixes:

What's corrected:

Chapter 3 -
00:26 - you said "Looking and listened", should be "looking and listening"
10:45 - a long pause in the middle of a line

The corrected file:

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/montecristo_narrator_3.flac 31.72 MB

Chapter 4-
01:20 - missing line "and Caderousse rattled his glass upon the table."

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/montecristo_narrator_4.flac 13.96 MB

I have the next four chapters 13, 14, 15, 16 recorded. Will be edited on the weekend. I'm going to get in the routine of recording through the week, editing on the weekend, uploading on Mondays, shooting for 3 files / week minimum.

Hi Scott,
This is excited to see. I'm going to help with the editing. Can you work with Kristin on the wording and record the DP for the volume you have finished? I could really use it and it would make sure I have your voice credit as well.

Yeah, Scott, I was gonna talk to you about this. I was thinking you could just make a file with
"Dramatis Personae for Volume [#] of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. Narrator read by[]... End of Dramatis Personae volume [#]"

Do you guys think that would work?

How about this?

At the beginning: Dramatis Personae for Volume [#] of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. This is a Librivox recording. All Librivox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit Librivox dot org.

Narrated by [your voice credit]

(blank space)

At the end: End of Dramatis Personae for Volume [#].

Uh... You want me to re-record all the openings and closings for every chapter?

No, just one additional file for each volume.

It's a file where I can put in all the voice credits for the volume.

Yeah, we're making a cast list to each volume, but as it's so long, we're making it a seperate file.

Ahh okay. I should be able to record all of those this weekend. I'll use the suggested script for it.

Hi! Sorry for taking so long!

Do I need to record a 'this is read by' as well? I've never recorded a role before and Carlini only had a couple of lines so I didn't include one

Thanks! Yes, we do need the read by. Also, would you upload the file again with the correct name, it should be without the [], so it should look like this: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/montecristo_Carlini_33.flac
