Hi everyone,
My name is Helen and I've just started learning about narration through an online course I'm taking. LibriVox looked like a great place for me to learn even more, and put to practice what I'm learning. Not to mention being a great source of audiobooks I didn't know existed!
I was born in England but grew up in Australia, so my speaking voice is a little of both. I've been told I sound 'posh' Australian (?), but I'm looking forward to playing with my voice as part of the learning process.
Can't wait to get involved and get to know you all.
Cheers
Helen.
Hello from Tasmania, Australia.
And hello right back at you from Qld.
I see you've sent in your 1 minute test. Just remind you that, when in doubt about a technical issue, you can consult Phil Chenevert's excellent how-to videos:

That's right Helen, just ask. We may not know the answer but this community is very nice.
Here is your welcome flower
I suggest the little video called Welcome to our Forums or something like that. It explains some of our jargon and stuff.
