Hi Larry -

I'm back. May I have sections 33, 59, 66, 67, 73, 101, 106, 126, 129, 141, and 150?

I would like to claim sections 2-8 ("Intimations of the Beautiful"). By the way, it's my first time recording, and I would Like to be called Ivan Yuan on the catalog. Thank you.

Welcome!

Before I assign anything to you, please complete your one-minute test recording. Read the Newbie Guide to recording referenced in the initial post of this thread and you will find instructions for completing this important step.

Those sections are a HUGE undertaking, and I generally advise new readers to begin with some shorter sections just to get the feel for the process rather than getting bogged down in something major, so give that some consideration, please.

Post again here when you have the official "OK" on your test recording.

Hi Foon,

I have marked them all PL OK, but for 32, I have an optional note:

0:23 (not required): You probably should pronounce 'satyr' in the line 'What leaps in the bosk but a satyr?' as 'SAT-er' (which is an accepted pronunciation), so that it rhymes with 'scatter'.

Normally I wouldn't even mention pronunciation, especially when the pronunciation is an accepted one (SEY-ter is how Merriam Webster has it, for example), but I think you have to be a little more strict with poetry.

Anyway, I'll leave it up to you.

Hi Jordan,
Thanks for pointing it out--I'm surprised I didn't notice it!
