Are Precursors of Science Fiction (http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Precursors_of_Science_Fiction_(Bookshelf)) welcome on this project? I don't see much difference myself.

They most certainly are. If they are ghost or horror stories, we have a short story collection of them, also.
