Thanks GRS and Raj, you are both "leggier agitato", in other words, PL OK. :D

Michele,

I listened to yours, only one note: @0:30 I hear "Bass" (as in fish), needs to be "Bass" (as in low-pitched sound, pronounced "base", see https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bass (noun 2))

The rest is all good, up to you if you want to fix it.

BTW, in MW, current section 4 has initials "ELB", while the file in the post has "eib" (note the second initial). Note that the MW link in section 4 is also broken.

Here's my revised poem, base not bass. I always get bass and bass confused.
I also de-amplified -1.4,a to 90dB, I must have had my headphones lowered when I recorded it!

Thanks for your PL.

This is my first recording so would really appreciate any feedback! Particularly; is the volume ok? I feel lke it may be on the quiet side.

It is a fantastic poem though, really enjoyed it.
Your reading is very good, Ed. I can tell you enjoyed it. It is PL OK, except your volume does indeed check out (on our Checker program) at 79.6, far below our recommended volume. This can be corrected in Audacity by going Effects/Amplify/+9.5. (LV's optimum volume is 89). Please amplify and resubmit your recording, and let me know you've done that. It's best to let the people over at the 1-minute test know what software and hardware you are using, and they can advise you how best to set up your equipment for more volume, gain, etc.

Also, as this is your first recording, I will need you to choose a Catalog Name that you want to appear in our Catalog of completed projects. This can be your Real Name, your username, or anything else you'd like to be searchable by. I use Michele Fry in the catalog so my friends and family can easily find me using LV's Search feature, and msfry as my username. It's your choice, but once chosen, can't be changed on catalogued material.
Ed, tomorrow is the closing of this project, and I haven't heard from you. Please read the above, and follow the directions if you wish to be included in the catalog. Otherwise I will have to delete your offering, which I don't want to do. Please stay with us and become part of the LV team.

With your permission, I could fix your volume issue myself. Then all you would have to do is provide me with a catalog name.
