COMPLETE: The Topaz Story Book by Ada and Eleanor Skinner, eds. - jo
I wanted to take the last available section, but then I saw that section 46 is not assigned to anybody, but a link is already in...could you check who claimed that section and sign the reader up for it ? Then this project is fully claimed.

I checked the thread and sferry33 claimed it in September, not even 3 weeks ago. Maybe you should first ask if she still wants it before reassigning. Just to be fair.
She is a new reader, she may not know yet all about how it works here.
I will wait for confirmation before I do anything. No big deal, it's a very short poem and excellently suited for a new reader, so if she wants it, she should do it.

Okay. I did write her a kind little message, since I didn't see any sign of her 1-min test or any other recording, encouraging her to get started with any number of selections that are available in group projects. But we can wait -- there are a few that are assigned but not read yet, so it's not like we can add the book to the library TODAY.

exactly and she did her one-minute test, only got the volume a bit low. I think she could manage with this small section. She got the ok from Monika: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=71907&p=1509355#p1509355Nedge wrote: ↑October 14th, 2018, 10:49 am Okay. I will wait until you hear back from her.

Yup, just saw that and wrote again to invite her over to read her section. I also put a short post in the 1-min thread, inviting her to come over and read her section.
There's a long learning curve with Librivox, as I know. (I started learning by listening to Kara read books years ago. Then I got a tiny mic from a local Freecycle site, but was too overwhelmed to jump in. Then THIS year ... well, anyhow.)
I hope she hops over.

adr6090, April, my apologies for not putting your selections up in the MW sooner. I've not done a very good job keeping up with this book, and I apologize. They're there now, awaiting PL.
