Hello!
Here is:
The Black Reaper, by Edward J. Capes:
https://librivox.org/uploads/bart/ghohor032_theblackreaper_capes_agc_128kb.mp3 at 27:45
The text may be found at: http://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/14045/pg14045-images.html
Please note: there is a poem by the same title directly preceeding this story.
In reading over it several times, I decided that it didn't seem to exactly accompany the prose and so did not include it; if you believe otherwise, please let me know. I'll be happy to add it in.
As always, thank you for the assistance. I had great fun in voicing parts of this piece.
Too, constructive criticism is always welcome. *Smile*
I wish to do *Justice* to these great works!

And here we have my first long piece.
*Especial Thanks* to the PLer for the close listen to this one!
All Men are Ghosts by L.P. Jacks

Oh, my yes. How I DID enjoy giving voice to Panhandle! This is one of my favorite pieces recorded for LV; I will especially appreciate any feedback on maintaining the accent of Dear Panhandle! *Smile*
Please let me know if I can provide any PL help in exchange for listening to this story ... or just because a little help is needed. *Smile*
Best,

Three new stories!
@annehaviland: what was the source of your story?
@BurgundyGrace: All men are ghosts is too long to be a short story. I will ask my fellow admins for the best way forwards. For now I accept it here.
Ready for PL

I am checking up to find what your fellow admins think best in the way of placement of this story.
Thanks,
Could you please split the story in two parts?
A two part story is acceptable.

[q]And this is what we think:

A two part story is acceptable.
Bart [/q]
This selection has three parts.
Parts I & II would run approx 45 mins.
Parts II & III would run at about 35 minutes.
For organization's sake, I will split them recordings into three sections of approx 10, 35 and 15, so that readers may decide if they'd like to listen to other parts.
Based on the flow of the story, I believe this will work best.
If you would rather otherwise, do let me know and I will take such suggestions under consideration.
