yes, that is correct. Even if the stage directions are "inside" one of your speeches, don't record them, but leave 2 seconds silence so the editor can easily copy/paste it all in a masterfile.Carmelea wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2018, 4:33 pm Hello. I recorded the part of Enid and want to start editing. I just wanted to make sure I understand correctly: I'm supposed to leave 2-3 seconds after Enid has a line/lines. I am also supposed to leave 2-3 seconds after a stage direction, but I don't actually read the stage direction because someone else would do that. Is that right? Thanks!!
Example:
Enid (cheerily): "Anybody home ? (looks around her) I guess not."
here you would record: "anybody home ?" - 2 seconds silence - "I guess not"

Can I claim section 57 (Servant)?

One morning, when Mr. and Mrs. Unicorn woke up, it was raining hard. "I'm glad we didn't go with that crazy old man Noah on his ark!" said Mrs. Unicorn.

Here is Fritz Strübel for "The Far-Away Princess."

Sonia, as I'm BC and DPL of the play, I think I'll need you to PL my file. No rush if you are busy, though. There are still several more roles left to hand in.

no worries, I had a listen just now excellent job you're doing here. Strübel is so boyishly romantic, and the contrast in the end when he loses his illusions really comes as a hard blow. It is quite a sad play, this one.WiltedScribe wrote: ↑September 24th, 2018, 3:12 pm Here is Fritz Strübel for "The Far-Away Princess."

I have two small notes to make:
> for the voice credit, your name is Fritz, not Franz
> at 14:12: “Would spring to life for me” – I can’t hear “for me”, maybe amplify a bit
The rest is perfectly acted out and it was a big role !
