That sounds like sometime I would do.

I realize this is probably a silly question but did you select your file before clicking start upload?

You need to use the green ‘add files’ button before ‘start upload’.

Shevaun,
Please review the process outlined here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording#Preliminary_Test

I don't receive the test. You need to post your link in the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum. viewforum.php?f=21

Hi Linny!
May I claim 4 and 5 all the little sighing souls?
Thank you!

Congratulations on your one minute test. :)

There are a number of changes needed for this section.

Please check the section notes and ensure you understand anything special about the section. For this section, the reading is actually 7 poems. You just read the last poem of the section.

The volume is too low at 84.3dB. We aim for 89dB with an allowable range of 86-92dB. Please amplify.

Please be extremely careful of making noise while you record. The mic picks it all up; paper shuffles and our movements.

0:49 paper movement

0:54 stumble - Deelish! Deelish! my woe forever that I could not sever coward flesh from fear.

1:40 extra word/stumble - At my clear clean-swept hearth he had no mirth, and at my table he broke no crumb

1:56 End of section 2
I hear 1

Ending silence needs to be 5 seconds or there is a risk your recording will get cut off during playback.

Please always check the initial post well. The file name needs to follow these guidelines: Example filename hauntedhour_##_widdemer_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is the section number (e.g. hauntedhour_02_widdemer_128kb.mp3)

Don't get discouraged. This takes practice...and patience. Please let me know if you have any questions.
