Hallowe'en at Merryvale by Alice Hale Burnett ( - ).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/halloween-at-merryvale-by-alice-hale-burnett/
"For many days the boys had been looking forward to the party to be held at Toad Brown's house, but the evening finally arrived and a number of new games were played, although a few things happened which were not on the program." ( Alice Hale Burnett)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/17145
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

MW coming up.

edit: Let me know if any changes are needed. We'll wait here for a day or two to see if we can snag a DPL.

1-8 PL OK. Finished!

I decided to PL these myself. Hoped you would not mind. Nice reads btw. I will catalog this book after you have responded that you are satisfied with the contents of the MW and the book summary. It's much easier to make changes now.

Craig -- I am delighted. Thank you! (As you can tell, I'm trying to find as many seasonal gems as I can, and this short classic was a lot of fun.)
