It still says gibs. Did you put up the right recording?

That was the correct recording Terry. The Gibes did sound different than the rest of the line.

It is funny as you know I had pronounced that word elsewhere wrong too and I had copied and pasted the same pronunciation in both places. I think, after reviewing the text I should have been saying for the part at 4:47 GIBE not gibeS. So I have re-recorded it as GIBE this time and I hope that is okay. I could not find the other occurrence of gibe in the poem so it must have been a different one. I do not see any rhyming for me to match it to.

I know the issue we're having now. Gibe is pronounced with a soft g sound, so should sound like jibe. You're using a hard g sound. That's why it keeps jumping out at me. At this point, I don't think its worth going back and doing again. It's a tiny thing and I'm only hearing it because I'm listening for it at this point. I have no desire to be the "Nit-Picky-Huzzy-of-the-South" and I know you have more things to record here and elsewhere. Let's put this one to bed and we'll move on. We're really close to finishing this project.
