Thanks. Philip is under the weather at the moment, so if he doesn't get a chance to PL, I'll do it tomorrow.

Being unsuccessful, I wasn't much disappointed either, since I have quite a lot to record at the moment. However, while preparing to record a cool article on Tesla's inventions for another collection, I found this incredible advertisement for Strongfortism, printed in the same magazine. It's such a perfect fit for this theme, and I just HAD to share it with the world.

The author, I suppose, would be Lionel Strongfort, whose real name, I've learned, was Max Unger. (Apparently, he was pretty successful with this business.)

I'd been meaning to do this awhile ago... But here is a link that will take you directly to the page of the advertisement, rather than having to wade through 900+ pages. Can we use this one instead?

I was thinking of doing another piece for this collection. I'm always amused by the lectures on the horrors of masturbation from the 19th and early 20th century, and I found a chapter of the right length in this book:

http://www.gutenberg.org/files/21840/21840-h/21840-h.htm#Chapter_Nineteen

My question is whether it is considered too "adult" or risque for this collection?
