Thanks. Philip is under the weather at the moment, so if he doesn't get a chance to PL, I'll do it tomorrow.soupy wrote: ↑August 12th, 2018, 6:22 pm Why do you use exercise by David Hume 1711-1776

I'd been meaning to do this awhile ago... But here is a link that will take you directly to the page of the advertisement, rather than having to wade through 900+ pages. Can we use this one instead?mightyfelix wrote: ↑July 7th, 2018, 10:37 pm Ok, so I poked around a little bit a few days ago, not very seriously, for something to read for this collection. Being unsuccessful, I wasn't much disappointed either, since I have quite a lot to record at the moment. However, while preparing to record a cool article on Tesla's inventions for another collection, I found this incredible advertisement for Strongfortism, printed in the same magazine. It's such a perfect fit for this theme, and I just HAD to share it with the world.

The author, I suppose, would be Lionel Strongfort, whose real name, I've learned, was Max Unger. (Apparently, he was pretty successful with this business.)

I was thinking of doing another piece for this collection. I'm always amused by the lectures on the horrors of masturbation from the 19th and early 20th century, and I found a chapter of the right length in this book:
http://www.gutenberg.org/files/21840/21840-h/21840-h.htm#Chapter_Nineteen
My question is whether it is considered too "adult" or risque for this collection?
