Cheryl added as DPL (Dovie, that means she has access to the Magic Window and can update it herself). I've also removed the tilde in the title as we are no longer advertising for a DPL

Moved to Going Solo -- that's a separate forum for solo projects and keeps the Launch Pad tidy. It won't affect your notifications.

Sections 6.7.8.and 9 PL OK

No, you are amazing. Another long set of even better chapters.
If the reader posts when the sections are ready it is helpful and makes a sort of on-going record.
That also sends an e-mail so the PL is alerted that something has been posted.
Then when I post, you are alerted that I have PL'd, etc.
Some of it is duplicate information to what is in the MW, but that is how Librivox has always done it.
I usually check my "dashboard" everyday, and try to PL anything that is waiting.

I really enjoyed chapter 9.

I don't think I have my notifications set correctly - I'll have to explore that.

I'm glad you enjoyed Chapter 9. I love when they're in the Straits of Magellan, cruising between all those glaciers and snowy mountains.

I've just posted Chapter 10. This one failed on the Checker on the first go-through - it said that the sound was out of range. I took it back and re-amplified it and it passed, but do let me know if I should tweak it more!

Well, I've posted 11, 12, and 14 for PL. I'm holding 13 because it has a long quotation in French at the end and one of my friends is supposed to talk me through it. My voice sounds really weird to me in Chapter 14 but it would about break my heart to have to go back to the drawing board and record it again. It took forever.

It wasn't so bad, once I had my friend break the whole thing down in phrases. Still not natural for me, though!
