I love seeing the monthly stats! :9:

Looks to me like sometime in August we will probably catalogue project 12,000! Will someone tell us which project it is?

Yes, there will probably be a run up close to it . I thing I catalogued the 10,000th - it was one of Nicholas Clifford's books

Of course quality is preferred to quantity - but it is a "feel good " occasion

Number of completed projects: 11997

Well, we'll definitely hit it before the anniversary. I'm not sure if we'll hit it tonight. (I don't know what time zone the statistics are in!)

How is it that Archive has more stuff in LibriVox collection than what we track here? As of just now, https://archive.org/details/librivoxaudio shows 12,029 "results"... :hmm:

1. because they update their counter when projects are sent to Archive , whereas we update ours when the project is catalogued . If you look at the Archive LV page it will often show a few projects that have not yet been catalalogued

2. because there are non catalogue pages in the LV part of Archive. They just count the pages not the content

There are also occasionally duplicate pages at archive.org, sometimes quite a few, that haven't yet been removed. We go by the count in our database.

The time zone for our database statistics is Pacific time. The server is in California.

ETA: 11998 is in the catalog :)

Number of completed projects 11998
Number of completed non-English projects 1542
Total number of languages 95

Project #12,000 appears to be https://librivox.org/heart-talks-on-holiness-by-samuel-logan-brengle/

Bummer - I was hoping it would be the 13th anniversary collection, which is #12001. 8-)

But this seems fitting. 12 + 1 = 13 afterall.
