The Way of Holiness by Samuel Logan Brengle (1860 - 1936).
Samuel Logan Brengle was a commissioner in the Salvation Army. His books are known for the practicality, joyfulness and authenticity. His life was spent working with people on the streets, so his insights into the work of the Holy Spirit are relevant to everyday life. His holiness was that of the street, the kitchen, and everyday life. His stories are of men and women living their daily lives. This is the third book in his "Holiness" series, which focuses on becoming like Jesus. (may be amended before cataloguing) ( Beth Thomas)
How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you would like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.
Is there a deadline? We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen. Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
Please claim sections (the numbers in the first column below)! If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.
Prospective Prooflisteners: Please read the Listeners Wanted FAQ before listening! Level of prooflistening requested: standard
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Beth,

Hi MakrygiannisS! Welcome to Librivox... and thanks for volunteering! I'd be happy to have you onboard.
Before I can officially sign you up, you will need to complete and have approved a one-minute test (there's a separate thread for it). This is not an audition; it's just to make sure your technical settings are all correct. Let me know when you get the results of that recording and have a catalogue name created.
Also, just a comment specifically about this project - that's quite a lot of chapters to claim at once. I realize it's a short book but I think start with one or two and claim more after you've recorded those. This is an Archive scanned book, and some people find those tiring on the eyes in big chunks.

The test file needs to be uploaded to the Listener's forum - I'm a Book Coordinator, not a technical checker.
I'll go ahead and allocate you to Chapter 5, as it's the shortest of the group you requested. Please don't record it until your 1 min test is OK, or you risk having to do it all over again!

Im a bit lost, please advice where is the Listeners forum, I saw the test option and used that one. Do i have to move the file? since the URL is there.
The URL is fine. What you need to do is go to the forum called "Listeners and Editors Wanted". If you see a lot of topics there that say "1 minute test" or something similar, you're in the right place. Create a new topic there. You can title it MakrygiannisS Test, or something like that. Then post the URL there.
