thank you, Livia, the two poems are very beautifully read, although this time, I did not understand that much  I like the second one, that it's a sort of dialogue. I checked cerbul with google translate, so this is a stag. And the other the emperor who wants to kill him ? :hmm:

Both are PL ok. :)

another very interesting choice, epachuko 8-) I have not heard of this woman before but she sounds like an interesting and strong person. The text is again beautifully read and clearly understandable. But I found a few errors this time which need to be corrected:

> at 4:06: (p. 25 middle) the beginning of the sentence is missing: “Un commandante nos decia

> at 9:23: (p. 27 middle) “la reforma de un culpable” is repeated, can be cut out once

> at 9:54: (p. 27 middle) stumble and repeat: “que tuviesen conocimientos de fisiologia”, can be cut out once

> also I noticed, your DC bias is really high. Normal would be around -1, 0 or +1 but you have +178  It means that your recording is not clearly centered on the middle line, you see that well when you enlarge the portion in Audacity. It can be easily removed though. If you use Audacity, this is how it works:

> highlight your recording
> go to Effect
> go to Normalize
> tick Remove DC offset and press OK

thank you

Sonia

Thank you, Sonia! :D

There are several legends about Curtea de Argeș Monastery.
These legends have inspired many Romanian writers.
Neagoe Basarab and his wife were founders of Curtea de Arges Monastery.
Neagoe Basarab's wife offered her jewels for sale, to get money for this cathedral.
This beautiful act is described, in a dramatic way, by D.Bolintineanu in his poem Dómna luĭ Négoe.

Sonia

You understand well, Sonia :)
There is a dialogue between a stag and an emperor.
The stag is hunted by the emperor at the request of his wife. The stag (he is also the prophet) asks the emperor to delay his death, but the emperor can not fulfill his prayer. Then, the stag tells him a prophecy: They will both die tonight. The Emperor will be killed by his wife, who will lead the empire together with her lover.
The poem has significant allegorical content.

Hello again!!

I bring a little short tale of José Echegaray, I saw that his name is on the data base but no mention  that he was the first Nobel Prize of Literature of the spanish letters  (award in 1904). It is my little honour, to share a little piece of his work with the Librivox communitty!

I do not want to abuse :P cause I am reading too much on the same short work collection ahaha so I will keep myself silent on this proyect  , cause there are a lot of other readers with so many languages and texts!!! Thank to all Librivox volunteers!!

wow thank you ! This is a bit of a creepy tale. I have not read anything by Echegaray so far, but if his stories are all a bit like this, I may read some others one of these days. :9: I hope he is already translated in English, as my Spanish is not good enough to really get all the details which are surely important.

This section is PL ok. And wonderfully narrated again.

there is no limit of sections you can contribute to this project though. Don't worry about "abusing". :) I don't mind hearing more Spanish stories.

BTW I updated his biography and mentioned the Nobel prize award. Thank you for the information. :) https://librivox.org/author/9045
