You have Ch. 23 listed for Hannah Randall, but I don't see any lines for her in Ch. 23.
Thank you for catching that! :)

Yes, that would be great! I'll sign you up as the "Parts Proof-Listener," since we already have a "Designated Proof-Listener" lined up. So that means you can proof-listen as much or as little as you want!

This project is a "standard" proof-listen project, which means it's okay if a reader gets a word or wrong, as long as it doesn't change the meaning of a sentence.

Also, it would be especially helpful if you check the techincal specifications of the files, since our DPL is unable to do this with his computer. All you have to do is download Checker (click here). Just drag an audio file to the Checker window, and if there's any problem with it, it will tell you exactly what it is. Plus, you only have to check one or two audio files of readers you've never listened to before -- in other words, once you know someone knows what they're doing, you don't really need to check their technical specifications anymore.

And if you have any questions, please ask!

Oooh, may I please be Miranda Sawyer (F), Rebecca's grouchy, pessimistic aunt? I sense in her a kindred spirit! :D

I will claim Miss Dearborn, if she's still available.

Hi All!
If Jane Sawyer has not been picked up yet, I'd like to take on her role. If she has, maybe I could take Sarah Cobb, or Mrs. Robinson, or any female role... :)

If Adam Ladd and Jeremiah Cobb remain unclaimed (and if I may claim more than one part--I will do two different voices!) I would like to request such...

I’m happy with Hannah - I’ve been playing a lot of main parts recently - Adelgitha in Adelgitha, Psyche in Psyche - it’s only fair :) benderca is right and Dearborn is more interesting than Hannah, but I see Dearborn has now been claimed!

I can also play Alice Robinson since she is of a different age and doesn't appear in the same chapters.

Looking at the thread just above you on this page, I think both of the Sawyer aunts are already claimed. I'm sure there's something else available though!

Here's Aurelia! Since the Chapter 2 line is just a repeat of the end of Chapter 1 line, I've just repeated it there with a little separation to make it easier for editing.

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/rebecca_30_aurelia.mp3 (1:27)

In Ch 30 at the top of page two there's a line coloured for Aurelia which actually belongs to Rebecca: "But, mother, I CAN'T go! Who'll turn you in bed?"

That's it! First character done!
