COMPLETE [GRP] Well at the World's End: Book 4 by William Morris -dl
David:
You're doing fine. I've been confused here myself more than once! What I meant by file length was the duration of the recording in minutes and seconds.
So--it sounds like 21 and 22 are ready to be listened to (I'll get on that shortly)
23 is warming up.
Great work.
Many thanks,
Philip

Back after 8/15. In the hands of the medicos.
David:
Congratulations on completing your first file for Librivox! Section 21 is PL-OK! I didn't think your file yesterday was curt at all...so put those fears to rest. (You'll find that we are a pretty laid back bunch here).
I'll have 22 pl'd this evening.
Many thanks,
Philip

David:
I have the following notes for Section 22:
Throughout the file, there seem to be a number of clicks (see 2:04 for an example). In this file they are not so distracting as to require correction, but you may want to try this method out before you re-upload your file. Select the entire vocal track and then go to the effects menu in audacity and select the "Click removal" effect. This generally does a pretty good job of getting rid of them.
The other note regards the silence at the beginning and end of the file...they're both too long. At the beginning the silence should be from .5-1 second. At the end around 5 seconds.
Also don't forget to post the duration of the recording in minutes and seconds. It is essential to cataloging.
You're doing well!
Many thanks,
Philip

Hi Philip—Thanks Philip (and HI Kristin—sorry I didn't respond to your earlier greeting, I missed it at first, amid the general confusion)
I'll take make the corrections on section 22 as soon as I can.
Meanwhile here's 23..it does get somewhat easier as I go.

Great! That means we only have one section left
The last section has been orphaned
I'll read it.
Thanks, Todd
