Hmm. I thought I uploaded this this morning after correcting it, but I guess not, or forgot to post a note.
Anyway, it is ready for spot PL now.
On the road again, so delays are possible

Hello Peter and welcome back!
I'm holding Section 55 until July 17 for a new reader to complete her 1 minute test. If she hasn't completed it by then, no one else has asked for it, so its all yours.
There are a couple of other things on the boards that might interest you (I'm going to be a bit selfish and point you to a couple of projects of mine first (and frankly neither may be your cup of tea--that's entirely ok)--and there are a couple of other projects from others one of which may interest you, the other, I'm just not sure.
(I was delighted you took a part in the dramatic reading by the way, and I hope you enjoyed enlarging your comfort zone.)
The next project is a series of tales based in Russian history. It's a solo project that the soloist didn't finish and still has about 18 sections to go. The sections are about as lengthy as these here.
If you think you might be interested in doing a one act play (may/may not be your thing) I just put up a one act which is sort of a "robo cop" from 1917.
I'll point you to the links for those if you are interested.
Around the middle of next week, I'll be putting up the last version of P.T. Barnum's (the circus guy's) autobiography which will have plenty of reading (most sections around 20 minutes)
Our friend Foon has put up Volume 4 of this series and is looking for readers. (I'm holding on to Vol 3 which is greco-Roman tales) to give her a chance to get Vol 4 in the catalog...so it won't be up quite so soon.)
Our friend Jo has just put this one up (and its going fast)

I've just given you far more information than you asked for--sorry. I hope you're enjoying your librivox experience. (And I will hold the Section for you if the new reader doesn't finish a one minute test).
Many thanks,
Philip

Back after 8/15. In the hands of the medicos.
Eva:
Section 32 is nicely read, but there needs to be one correction before I can mark it PL-OK.
Throughout the first 2 minutes of the reading there are a number of plosives exploding into the microphone. A quick fix for this is to run a High Pass Filter from the effects menu in Audacity with the frequency set to 300 and the roll off to 12 dB.
Highlight the entire vocal track and then run the filter then re-export and re-upload the file.
If that was confusing, I'll be happy to walk you through it.
Many thanks,
Philip
