I happened upon this recently:
https://archive.org/details/mcshanebellfound00mcsh
A publication from the McShane bell foundry -- currently the only bell foundry still operating in the United States.
What would nowadays be a mundane listing of items for sale with pictures and prices, here is described in thorough fashion to inform the purchaser about everything important for which bell to order for their church/bell tower. So, it's basically a textbook on bells.
Might be difficult to work around the illustrations and tables, but I think it would be interesting nonetheless.

Interesting. Even if you thought the whole book may have problems in an audio version, several of the chapters would be great in the non fiction collection - the one about how far the sound would carry for example
