The cover for "Stories from the Operas" by Gladys Davidson can be found here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/Salvationist.zip

Might someone be willing to add a blurb to Gladys Davidson's author page? I haven't yet been able to discover her birth or death dates, but I have learned that she was elected a Fellow of the Zoological Society of London in 1920 and that she authored many other books, including ones about opera, ballet, animals, and the Bible.

Here are some of her other titles: "Birds of the Sea and Shore", "More Ballet Stories for Young People", "Standard Stories From the Operas", "Modern Opera Stories", "Stories of the Ballets", "Opera Biographies", "Tales from the Woods and Fields", "Wonderful Living Things", "Kindergarten Bible Stories", "Brownie and the Grocer", "Stories From Gilbert & Sullivan", "Wonder Tales From The Greek & Roman Myths", "Water Folk at the Zoo", "A Cat And Dog Life", "Stories from the Russian Operas", "A Toy for Baby Biddy", "Animal Adventures", "New Stories of Grand Opera", "Ballet Biographies", "Two Hundred Opera Plots", and "The Old Testament Story", "Sinbad's Seven Voyages and Other Stories from 'The Arabian Nights'", and "The Golden Cobbler and Other Stories".

Hi

It seems that libriclaims does not accept at present the introduction of names in the claims. I have tried with Firefox Chrome and Opera and it does not take the claims.

Cheers!

What are you trying to claim ? I can get Bart to add it
And could you expand on what happened ? did your claim get overwritten or could you just not add it ?

Hi
I tried to claim the short story collection 19 and it did not work. I have now taken another one, industrial biography, and this one did work.
So, issue solved.

Also, would someone be able to claim Maud (#9010)? I was hoping to do this, but my efforts never went anywhere and I don't have time to try again now. Thanks for considering - :D

Hi,

here: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/industrial_biography_iron_workers_tool_makers_s_smiles_1807.zip
is the cover for the Industrial Biography: etc... by S Smiles, read by Clive Catterall, this project:
https://librivox.org/industrial-biography-by-samuel-smiles/

I uploaded an earlier version (to the uploader) and I cancelled it later while writing the post here as I realized of a mistake. I also aborted the messages so nothing has appeared in this thread.
I do not know if there will be two versions uploaded. If there are, the latest (the corresponding to this post) should be the correct one.

Thank you for taking care,

Cheers!

Salvationist,
Thank you for the cover on Stories from the Operas. The project went quickly and was well received by readers so I’ve added your list of other works to my future project list. :D

The cover for The Fox That Wanted Nine Golden Tales is here:

Don't see the title on libriclaims, and trying to figure out how to add it!

Since one of my projects will be finished "soon":
The upload should wait until after the cataloging process was successful, right?

Thank you very much!

I've tried the directions, but it's beyond my skill set. The gutenberg pic is the one I'd like to use, if anyone is willing do it. Thanks.
