Hi Matt!

Here are the PL notes for Chapter 5

I am not sure if someone has told you or not, however when doing the edits it is best to start with the editing of the recording from the end forward so that your timestamps that I give you will not change.

.5 – 1 second at beginning of recording – you have 5 seconds*
5:59 – said would s/b could
6:54 – said the cornal of the regiment – s/b The colonel of one regiment
11:20 – missing “broke down with the youngsters.
11:26 – said summer s/b supper
End – you need 5 seconds of silence at the end of your recording after you indicate the Chapter/Section and your name.*

Please make these changes and then re-upload the file PLUS THE LENGTH OF THE RECORDING and I will do a Spot Check to ensure that your changes have been successful!

* These are standard for all recordings for Librivox

Hi Matt!

Well, Chapter 6 was excellent! It is ALMOST PL OK!

The only thing you need to do is ensure there is 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording and then export and upload the recording again with the running time and I will check it out for you!

Hi Gary!

Good reading of Section 23! Here are some comments from my proof listen of your recording -

.05 to 1 second silence at beginning
1:03 – Mumble in middle of this sentence – s/b In this spirit, it is true, that the great tide in the allied fortunes
2:45 – said year – s/b war
4:53 – missing enough
8:16 – missing pretty
13:07 – Start of sentence cut off – please re-record And yet the importance

Please make these changes and then export the recording and upload and paste the link and new time back into this forum so I can spot check it!
