Thanks Larry. I started PL-ing your recording this afternoon and absolutely loved your rendition of Horatio. :-)

I should point out, though, that you only recorded Act III, Scene II. There are some more lines from Horatio in Scene I:

No rush, obviously... and my apologies for not making it clearer that each act was subdivided into two scenes. This is one of the drawbacks of using an archive.org source text, I'm afraid. :|
 sorry about the confusion over this. I hope I got everything this time

Thank you both so very much. :-)

Now comes my horrible confession: I still haven't finished recording my own lines... so technically, I am the one holding this project up from completion. Argh! I'll get to this as soon as I can, but I recently lost my voice to summer allergies and can't record right now. But soon, I promise... soon.

Well, you already confessed, at the beginning of this project, that, like Rollo, you were somewhat less than prepared to do this at the time. So I think we all knew what we were getting into.

I'm moving and may not have good enough internet connections to get to the MW and do cataloging until mid-July. Maybe. We'll see. If things are ready to go and I can't do it, I'll get someone else to jump in and help.

Thanks, Todd

Sorry Larry. I've been PL-ing the files as I edit the rough cut of Act III... so I've been a little slower than usual.

Anyway, I really like your reading of Horatio. You sound like a pretty tough grandfather! LOL!

I found two missing files, unfortunately:

(p. 76): I did—long ago. My toe is very bad, Bella. I want you to help me into some room where I can be alone. I don’t care where—if necessary, I can go to bed.

(p. 84): [to Goldie] Sit down. [she does so] Are you going to marry my grandson?

Feel free to just record those lines as a separate file, as I'm already about 30% finished with the final assembly.

EDIT: And I found three more:

(p. 84): Oh! What have you played?

(p. 84): Oh, you sing.

(p. 86): Just about the airbrakes, my dear—that’s all.

Thanks Larry. I'm editing Act III right now, so I'll go ahead and put those in. :-)

You're kinda the star of this act. I'm actually shocked how many lines you have.

Please don't kill me, Larry... but I'm missing one more line:

(p. 91): “Rumor—it wasn’t a rumor—I was very sick indeed.”

The good news: I'm about 85% finished with the final edit of Act III and I think the rest of your file should be good to go. I'm sorry about the hassle. This will be the last time I PL as I edit. :?

I'm also going to have to split up Scenes 1 and 2 again. The file is already around 60 minutes in length... and I haven't even got the part where Hewston appears.

Please don't apologize, Chuck! It is I who should apologize for missing the lines. I'll get it in just as soon as I can.

Thanks Larry! And of course, as soon as you posted that, I found one more. Not a missing line, per se, but an audio error. For whatever reason, the sound cuts off halfway through during this line reading:

(pg. 111): [Unable to restrain himself] Good-- good-- [Rollo reproves him with a glance] I mean, horrible, horrible!

I promise, that's the last one. I've edited the rest of the play (minus the very last scene) and can confirm that everything else is pitch perfect. Thanks for being patient with me, Larry. I promise, I'll never do this again. :-P
