PL NOTES Section 05: At 6:08 there's a cough after which you restart the sentence "Its Sultan is . . ." It just needs for you to snip out the first start of the sentence and the cough.
Thank you for your kind words, Philip.

Thank you, Philip. Section 05 is PL OK. I'd appreciate your keeping an eye on us in case anything gets orphaned.

Pattymarie:
I always keep a project that I've been active in on my notification list until it is in the catalog (then I download the final project). To my mind my reading, listening or whatever, is not finished until the project is. So I'll gladly keep an eye on this.
I had previously read of Batuta in my graduate work and still had the book. To my surprise, it was an English paraphrase, rather than a translation...and while in some respects it is easier to read, it is also less precise than this one. I'm glad to know of its existence.
Many thanks,
Philip

Thank you, Philip. It's dedication like that on the part of many volunteers that makes Librivox such an especially enjoyable and worthwhile "place".

Removed the claim on section 14 as per PM:
Moving us back to Readers Wanted.I claimed Section 14, Chapter 25, on 6/13, but I am unable to complete a recording of that chapter. Please take me off of the Magic Window. I hope you find someone else to complete this recording. I am looking forward to listening to it when it's done.
