This is an excellent reading. My only comment is that it seems like the end of the recording is about 1 second too long. If you could trim that one bit that would be great.rampantant wrote: ↑May 31st, 2018, 2:01 am Hi again!
Here's Section 5. https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/visitsofelizabeth_05_glyn_128kb.mp3 [00:07:13]
I had so much fun, I'd gladly take up the last two remaining sections, 16 and 17, if that's okay.

Thank you
The 5 second rule (just as the 1 second start silence rule) needs not be interpreted quickly. Most of our dpls accept a heartbeat more or less. This just fyi thank you!

Hi again, and thank you both!
I have reuploaded Section 5 cropping the end a bit here's also Sections 8 and 15. This book is hilarious. I'll happily claim the two remaining orphan sections, 1 & 7, if that's fine by you.
https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/visitsofelizabeth_05_glyn_128kb.mp3 [00:07:13] (It's the same length as before because it wasn't quite a full second, but it should be precisely 5 now )

Section 8 has no reading errors, but it should be amplified by at least 1.5db.
In section 15, there is an error at 19:14- I hear "Lady Carriston did not make such a fuss over Charlie's wrist" when it should be "Lady Carriston did make such a fuss over Charlie's wrist". This section also should be amplified by at least 1.5db.

Hi! Here are sections 8 and 15, both amplified by 1.5. I removed the "not" in 15, let me know if the hiccup is too noticeable and I'll rerecord it.

I don't think the hiccup is too bad. These are both PL OKrampantant wrote: ↑June 4th, 2018, 3:33 am Hi! Here are sections 8 and 15, both amplified by 1.5. I removed the "not" in 15, let me know if the hiccup is too noticeable and I'll rerecord it.

Hi all,
I'm here to make a rather unpleasant announcement.
Today the tip of my right ring finger got caught in the blades of a fan. The damage turned out to be irreparable, and I ended up having to have it amputated just above the first joint. I am somewhat of an emotional wreck at the moment, and it's going to take a while for me to heal, both physically and mentally. I will be on pain medication for the next few weeks, which has the side effect of making me rather woozy. As such, I will be taking off school, meaning that I have an abundance of time to work on LibriVox projects. However, I may not be in the greatest shape, and as such it might take me longer to PL sections than usual.
Thank you for your understanding.

That is terrible news, I'm so sorry!
I wish you a speedy recovery in every way. I'll leave Section 16 for whenever you're ready.

Thank you for the kind words.
At 12:13 the "&c." is missing. Everything else looks good.
