I always thought of it as a long i but I almost always get names wrong so either would have worked for me.

A combo or individual voice credits will work. I'm sure we will have a mix.

Jasmin and TJ:

The Section for Bessie Blithesome is PL-OK! Perfectly read!

Well done!

Many thanks,

Short or long "i" in Bessie's last name -- Blithesome?

She did both in this file:
https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/lifeandadventuresofsantaclaus_03_bessieblithesome.mp3

But we forgot to do the one line for "children" in Section 4. I'll upload that in a separate file.

Do you want a voice credit with all her roles combined?
Long "I" definitely. The root word "blithe" is pronounced that way. It means "joyful or happy."

Thanks! I didn't think of its meaning - just thought it was a name... oops. :D

I might have Jasmin record it again -- she was kind of choppy battling with the pronunciation. She still has her "children" line to record, so may I'll get her to record a combined voice credit with the proper pronunciation and add it to that file.

May I claim the few lines for Mayrie? Would be fun to give a shot to reading a crying child's lines :D

Well, here's my take on her 5 lines then!

I made sure there was 5+ seconds of silence between different lines. I hope that's ok?

So I wanted to listen to the narrator, section 2, so that I could check how to pronounce "Shiegra" and I discovered that instead of "section 2", section 1 was posted twice (under both numbers "1" and "2". Maybe you already know this, but just in case:

7 Narrator MrsHand Sections 1, 2,

By the way, how do you pronounce "Shiegra"?
