Hello Rapunzelina,

I would like to seek advice about a text source. I will record another author this month, so there is no rush on this. Please think it over or discuss it with other admins if you need to - and I'm sorry if it's a tricky question!

I'm interested in recording poems by Henry Louis Vivian Derozio (1809-1831), as I think he would be a fascinating addition to Librivox's catalogue. I may be overlooking something, but I have not found legible, clearly PD scans of his work. I have found a selection of his poems published in 1923, but the year of the editor's death makes that book problematic for Legamus.

I have, however, found a PD scan from the British Library:

It's of Poems, one volume of his verse, and it was published in Calcutta in 1827. If you scroll down the bar on the right side of the screen, it should show the PD logo under 'usage terms'. I know this is not a traditional source for e-texts, which is why I'm raising this before I record. Would this be an acceptable text source?

Hello I just recorded, haven't posted that one quite yet, my 3rd poem for this thread and it dawned on me that "the road not taken" is a title so I do not include it in naming my audio. I have renamed 2 prior files to include the road not taken as I did not realize it is not intended to be in the file name. Please let me know if I need to send the original ones without that in the title.

Hi! Yes, indeed, I just noticed what happened with the filenames! "roadnottaken" was as an example, and the filenames from the first time you uploaded are fine. I can still get those files. So no need to do anything else now. I'll listen soon and let you know if any other adjustment is needed.

Don't worry so much about it. Think of the Catalogue name as what you use in the "recording by/read by [your name]" statement of the intro. It can help listeners who liked one of your recordings, easily search you by that name and find more recordings by you.
