knotyouraveragejo wrote: April 18th, 2018, 7:31 pm As this will be your first recording for Librivox, please have a look at the NewbieGuideToRecording and also read carefully through all the notes in the first post of this thread if you haven't already done so.

We also highly recommend that you send in a short test recording to check that all the technical requirements are good before recording a full chapter.

I've added your catalog name to the database. You can see this on your catalog page at https://librivox.org/reader/12445 where if you click on the Readers sections beneath your name, shows all the sections in open project that you have signed up to read.
Thank you! I have already read through the newbie guide and submitted my first one minute test. I am working on fixing some issues and will submit another one to make sure everything sounds good before recording this section. :D

I think I have samples of all the types of quartz mentioned in this article, but sadly no amethyst goblets.

My pleasure tovarisch!

And thank you for everything you do on LVox ..... not only how you put passion into everything you read, whether great poetry or dry scientific essays, but also for all of you thoughtful help with newbies on their one-minute test.

I appreciate having you here.
