(Complete) [DRAM.READ] Wives and Daughters, E Gaskell - m8b1
Yes, I know. I haven't forgotten - it's just that the narrations for these chapters are so long!
I will get back to it, I just want to clear my desk of some other commitments first.

If you don't mind a Boston boy taking on what looks like some female parts in this section, I would be happy to take on Chapter 1: The Dawn of a Gala Day, with permission of course.

Thanks for the offer, but no, this project is marked FULL in the header - there are no parts available. You need to look for projects which have OPEN in their header.
We do need more male voices in other projects though! Have you had a look at the Count of Monte Cristo? There's also lots of good stuff in the One Act Play collection!

I'm about to re-launch this project, now that The Mikado is up and running and Amulet is nearly fully cast.
Just checking who is still here on the thread! Max? Michele?

Max still here
Thanks Max! I'll PM Michele and I'm in the process of recruiting another editor for the first 9 chapters.
I hope to start posting narrations again for this very soon! Just need to warm up my British accent...

I was actually asking for those who are still working on the project - unless you are volunteering to edit? I need another editor...

Hi there,
This is my first time recording for LibriVox and I am so excited! I hope you will allow me record Molly in this dramatic reading of Wives and Daughters. I have just finished reading this novel and I loved it so much - Gaskell is so witty, a dramatic reading is such a great idea. The pseudonym I would like to use is Faililli.
Cheers!

Welcome to Librivox! Unfortunately this project is FULL - which means there are no parts available. Look for a project with OPEN in the subject line to find parts to read.
Good luck!

Tagging in so I can follow the thread. When you post your narrations I can likely help out with the editing.

I hope she's OK and feels better soon!
The majority of the PLing is done, so I don't think the project needs a new DPL. I'll work with the editors of the final versions and PL it myself.
