Certainly understandable.
This happened to me a month ago, quite rushed, and then to find out the new place is far too noisy for casual recording. I will probably use some space at church, but that is now 20 min away. Only 6 degrees right now, so that is even unlikely. So, I'm doing more PL work and launching some new projects as BC.

I'll be here. So, don't worry about it.

Thank you very much for understanding! I have now moved into my new place and, unfortunately, it is probably the loudest place I have ever lived. I think it very unlikely that I could produce a reasonable recording in this environment. I really want to see this project to completion and I intend to record the final three chapters, but it will likely be months before I can find an appropriate space. I really want to avoid this project being opened up to a group project, so please send me a message if there is ever a risk of that happening!

Sorry to hear about the noisy environment, for sure. I'm fighting the same conditions with my new move. I'm finding pockets here and there to fit in some recording, but it will be spring before I can set up something better. I'll be here.

I think if you just check in periodically, your project will be kept active. Tricia will give you the word on that.

Yeah, basically. I assume you'll still be logging in for other activities, but if you could post in here every month or so, that would help me remember that you haven't forgotten this. :)

Just checking in to say I haven't forgotten about this project and that I still intend to record the last three chapters as soon as I'm able, which may still be several months away.

Thanks for checking in.
As for me, just waiting in the wings.

This is my monthly check-in! I may have found a location that is quiet enough to record, but I need to get permission to record there. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

Sure hope it works out for you!
It wouldn't take much to finish this.

And, if it does work out, you might be interested in contributing to this project that just launched:

I hope to read some if I can clear some of my other commitments in time.
We just recorded a couple of initial sessions for a podcast at church, so I may be able to do some recording through the new digital sound board. We'll see.

Checking in for April. Thanks for letting me know about "Heart Talks on Holiness", Larry! I'm glad to see it being recorded. I haven't managed to work out the new recording location yet, but I'm still hoping it will happen. I'll continue to keep you posted.

This is my monthly check-in! It's looking more and more like it will be December before I record those last three chapters, but I still intend to do it. I really appreciate you keeping the project open until I'm able to complete it.

This is my check-in for June. Possibly the half-way point to me recording those last three chapters, unless opportunity arises before Christmas. :D

July check-in! Thanks again for keeping this open for me so I can finish recording the last three chapters! Christmas is still the goal.

I should have thought of this before, but how about if we stick this in "on hold" until December? That'll put it off the main forum and into storage. When you're ready to record, you can PM any admin to bring it back. I'll be willing to keep MC'ing it, so PM'ing me would probably work best.

Then you wouldn't have to submit monthly "I'm still here" posts. :)

If you end up disappearing, we could/would then open it up to new readers. But that wouldn't happen for probably a year after we put it on hold.

What do you think?
