Here are the PL Notes for:

Chapter 4:
-- :05 Translator is incorrect in intro
-- 18:01 Group line missing (that I think was going to be requested to be picked up by the narrator) "All! All!"

Chapter 8:
-- 14:08 Phone tones but no missing line at that spot.
-- 24:35 Father Christopher line missing: "If any one should ask how Father Christopher came to have at his disposal such means of transport by land and by water, he would show little knowledge of the power possessed by a capuchin who held the reputation of a saint.”

In looking through past comments, it appears there may have been confusion as to whether this was a narrator line, but it is clearly part of the instructions Father Christopher is given to Renzo with regards to the boat.

I'll listen to the other two tomorrow night.

The only thing remaining with Chapters 20 & 22 are that the translator is incorrect in the introduction.

If just copy/paste of the translator name from another file into chapters 20 and 22 is all that is needed, it's done:

Let's get this thing done! 8-)

Regarding Chapter 8, I'm sorry to cause trouble, but that line really does not belong to Fr. Christopher. The character is supposed to be a holy priest who believes that he is a great sinner because of his past pride and violence. It would be completely out of character for him to say of himself that he has the reputation of a saint. Also, the line does not really contain any instructions for Renzo; it is simply a remark about how much influence such a holy and humble priest would have with the people of his flock.

I checked a different English translation (http://www.bartleby.com/21/8.html - paragraph #75) and an Italian edition (http://www.letteraturaitaliana.net/pdf/Volume_8/t337.pdf - page 147, next to last paragraph: "Chi domandasse come . . . in concetto di santo."). In both cases, the sentence in question is in a separate paragraph, without quotation marks, and naturally reads as an observation coming from the narrator.

If you really, really want me to record this line, I will, but it will be under protest! :^)

Looking over the text in the source we are using and also the source that Eduardo gave (the English version), I have to agree with him. The tone of the language changes in that line and I don't think Father Christopher would be speaking that line about himself. I, too, think it is supposed to be a narrator line.

Thanks for your input, Barry and Eduardo. I agree. I PM'ed Mary both pick-up lines, and may end up emailing her as well. I don't think she checks LV very often anymore.

It all works for me! I was just going off the source we're using which has that line within the quotation marks of Father Christopher's instructions. Certainly not a an issue either way for me. :)

Thank you for all the work you have invested in this project. I really can't imagine taking on such a massive effort, and for such a long time. Thank you for persevering; I am sure many listeners will likewise appreciate your efforts.
