Here, finally (!!!) is chapter 6. Please accept my apologies for the long delay - the last few weeks had more going on than you could shake a stick at, but I finally got the recording and editing done.

There is a footnote marked [3] in the text after line 78: "very cautiously I began to thread my way in between the buildings.[3] As I snuffed round each building, " - which I inserted from 09:40 - 10:24, If you don't want this to be included, let me know and I'll remove it.

Best wishes
Jim
Thank you Jim. Don't be concerned, we have lots of time here. And the footnote is fine; I leave it to readers to decide for themselves if it is worth putting in.
EDIT: Note that you should upload files to my folder philchenevert. No need to do it again, but in the future that's all. It keeps things neater.

Hi,

I'd like to read section 2. This will be my first reading with Librivox. I'll go by the pseudonym "LT".

Thanks!

You are very welcome here. I check out your test and it is just fine, as is your voice. That section is all yours. Please ask if anything is confusing. You want to use LT as your catalog name, right?

Intro needs to follow script shown below.
File also needs 5s of silence at end.
Nice read.

"Chapter 2 of The Life Story of a Black Bear. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
"The Life Story of a Black Bear, by Harry Perry Robinson. Chapter 2. Cubhood Days"

At the very beginning of the intro you should say "Chapter 2 of The Life Story of a Black Bear." Just before the LV disclaimer.

Yes. It makes it easier to find a specific chapter or section if it is mentioned at the very beginning of the file.
