A few minor things here and there, but the only thing that needs to be corrected is to add "end of poem" at the end and before "this recording is in the public domain."
Looking forward to hearing the rest!

Larry, one PL note for section 2:silverquill wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2018, 8:49 am Posting a couple of my shorter sections:

At 0:56, the first dedication ends and you flow right into the second dedication making it sound like all the same poem. You left out the title between the two:
DEDICATION OF "NEW POEMS"
To COVENTRY PATMORE
I think it would sound better with the title in there and a pause between the two, but I'll leave that to you to decide.
PL Notes for section 50:
At 0:52 the third line in the fourth stanza is:
'Tis ye, 'tis your estrangèd faces,
That miss the many-splendoured thing.
Instead of saying "your estrangèd faces", you say "our estrangèd faces", which does change the meaning here.
At 1:10 the line is: "Yea, in the night, my Soul, my daughter,". You added an extra word here and read "Yea, in the night, of my Soul, my daughter, ...... I think this throws off the meter a bit and changes the meaning of the line.
At 1:23, at the end of the poem you read the footnote "F". If a person is reading the poem from the text, it makes perfect sense. However I wonder if the listener understands that?. Normally in these cases I see readers saying "footnote" before reading the footnote so the listener understands this. In addition, with the footnote, at 1:56 the line is: "and in the shadow—but all radiance to him—of Charing Cross." ... here you read "and in the shadow—but all radiance of him—of Charing Cross.", changing the "to him" to be "of him" which changes the context.
The poem was read beuatifully!. I'll leave it to you to decided if you want to try breaking into it with any edits.

3:01 -3:07 Repeat: I see the crimson blaring of thy shawms!
5:43 Missing line, and second line should start with “while”
“When the ancient heavens did in rains depart,
While the high-dancèd whirls”
Challenging poem! Some words that I don't know and some difficult meter, but you did it so well!
Thanks so much.

Nemo,
Thanks for the PL.
I think your point about the footnote is valid, as are you other points, so I'll makes some edits in my next session.
I'm so looking forward to reading Hound of Heaven, but also reluctant because I'm afraid I won't be able to do it justice. I'm going to see if I can record it at another venue. That perfectionist streak is clamoring!
Thanks for the PL.

Awesome .... can't wait to hear what you do with that poem. It is a challenge! ... I really like how you can hear the changing pace of rhyme in the flow of it ..sometimes soft, sometimes loud ..slowing here, speeding up there.silverquill wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2018, 9:47 pm Nemo,

From what I have heard of your recordings ( and I have heard a lot of them ) you will do it more than justice!
