John, please watch the ending of your file names, the one you uploaded ends in _128kb.mp3.mp3 and not _128kb.mp3

I am moving this project to Going Solo now that we have a DPL.

I've put up new files of 00 and 01 as I struggle to figure out the best way to identify each section.

I'm calling each section "Chapter"(i.e. "Chapter 1 - Ancestors") to eventually distinguish the "chapters" from the "sections"

confused???
me too!

John,

I would recommend consistency. Please edit the first post to reflect your preference. Since the online source is divided with a numerical progression and titles you can either always say chapter or always say section. Examples follow.

"Chapter 1 of MARK TWAIN, A BIOGRAPHY-VOLUME I, Part 1: 1835-1866 . This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"

"MARK TWAIN, A BIOGRAPHY , by Albert Bigelow Paine. Ancestors"

and

"End of Chapter 1"

or

"Section 1 of MARK TWAIN, A BIOGRAPHY-VOLUME I, Part 1: 1835-1866 . This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"

MARK TWAIN, A BIOGRAPHY , by Albert Bigelow Paine. Ancestors"

and

"End of Section 1"

Are you planning on using the short version of the disclaimer; please be consistent in using either the long or short version.

David O
somehow I got DE-registered and could only NOW get back in!!!
SO...

I will start each recording with a "section" number of the recording, give the librivox sentence (first one longer than subsequent) and then announce the number and name of the specific chapter.
For consistency and clarity and simplicity I would like to END each recording with the actual CHAPTER number and name (as listed in the book), and NOT the "section" number.

Can you go along with THAT??

Seeing as I was signed in here anyways, I thought to look what's going on. Glad to see another Twain book on the way...
