The Creature from Cleveland Depths by Fritz Leiber (1910 - 1992).

This project can be found in our catalog at https://librivox.org/the-creature-from-cleveland-depths-by-fritz-leiber-2/
Creatures that creep up from the depths are always fun to read about. Especially the slimy ones. Althogh this one may be cute and furry. More later. ( Phil Chenevert)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/23164
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Are these PD? Whoopee!
Love Fritz Leiber, so could I be DPL -- unless you have someone already lined up?

Happy to have you. This is a challenging read but it will be fun. It is in Gutenberg so I assume it is allright.

OK , the first two parts are in the magic window. No slithery mo[nsters in this story I am sad to say, but the monster is indeed dangero9us and threatening. Think of your smart phone coming alive and malevolent

From the depths of the Bayou, to the depths of Cleveland -- very good :)

Just one small slip at the end of Chapter seven -- you say also "End of Chapter six."
So, one small snip and the world is ready for another great Chenevert reading!
Beware the Ticklers.

Thank you! I have fixed and uploaded part 7 again so everything should be hunky-dory. Image
EDIT: I checked it myself and indeed it now says end of part 7 so no need for you to download it again.
