Praise received for m8b1 (Maria Therese) from our 'Thank a reader' feature:

I would like to say thank you to Librivox for the wonderful gifts through the audiobooks, and another thank you to Maria Therese. She is a wonderful reader. I like the way she ends each chapter. It is cute and funny at the same time. She has a good voice and puts life into the book, I am listening to Roman Collar Detective.
Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Darren

Dear Kristin Hughes,

I very much enjoyed listening to your reading of “For Music” by Lord Byron. I found your voice very soothing to listen to, and I appreciated how clear you spoke.

Thank you for putting your time into doing it,

To Peter Tucker:

I have just finished your narration of "En Route" and I want to thank you for taking the time and effort to make it available to those of us who can no longer read. I read most of "La Bas" but not all - it was quite overwhelming. After reading the second in this series, I understand much better what this series is about.

Huysmans is certainly a vivid and appealing writer. I haven't read anything quite like his books. And your narration is absolutely perfect for the books, strong and vivid, clear and pleasant to hear. I really look forward to more books in this series.

Again, thank you VERY much.

Susan

Yes, Huysmans was very unique writer wasn't he.
I have the intention of completing the Durtal books eventually or at the very least going on the The Cathedral.
Thanks again

Praise received for THynes (Tadhg) from our 'Thank a reader' feature:

After more than 50 years of striving in vain to read Joyce with any enjoyment, Tadhg has now made James Joyce wonderful to listen to and relish. With the greatest of thanks,

Hi Tadhg

Hope you´re very well

I just wanted to express my thanks to you for your reading of The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist. A very special book to me and several of my friends and family.

I also wanted to let you know that I used a segment (the most famous segment?) in a piece of music and video. Let me know what you think. I hope you approve and find it fun!

You can find it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoZmF53Lhfs
The Air Monopolist, Gospel From The Nightbus.

Thanks again

Praise received for bgdavid (David Clarke) from our 'Thank a reader' feature:

Dear Mr. Clarke,

I’d like to thank you for the incredible gifts you’ve provided in the form of The Count of Monte Cristo and the Sherlock Holmes canon. Your renditions are enchanting and natural, but your ability to give the characters distinct voices and mannerisms with such consistency is truly second to none. I would dare to say that not even the authors themselves, having dreamt up these fantastic characters and spent years imagining their adventures, could have given the fascinating tales of Sherlock Holmes and Edmond Dante the same breath of life as you have.

Thank you most sincerely for your passion and dedication.

Hi Adrian,
Thank you for doing such an excellent performance/reading by using
different voices for the characters. I just happened to choose your
version and was pleasantly surprised - I only expected a
straightforward reading of this book. Really superb!

A happy listener,
Bruce

Thank you so much for reading this with a genuine Manchester accent which brought back memories of home. Especially the dialect reminded me of my own great grandmother. It was a joy.
