Can I play a servant? Pick which one you want to assign to me.

That would be amazing, April. Thank you!AprilWalters wrote: ↑January 11th, 2018, 4:21 pmCan I play a servant? Pick which one you want to assign to me.![]()

Both are fairly small roles, but I think 2nd Servant is the meatier of the two... so I gave you that one.

Excellent, thanks!
ETA - Just checking - the act 3 lines are only on p 59, and the act 5 ones are on p 86?

I... think so? The servants don't say much, to be honest. Sorry about that.AprilWalters wrote: ↑January 11th, 2018, 5:00 pmExcellent, thanks!

thanks Chuck, great to see some new files in this projectChuckW wrote: ↑January 11th, 2018, 3:38 pmAll right, I think we've let this project wither on the vine long enough. Here's a couple of narration files for your consideration.

I have a few notes to make though:
for Act 1:
> at 5:02: (p. 7) missing line: “Manent Theobald and Hartman”
> at about 5:35: (p. 9) missing line: “Pacing to and fro, and then stopping and musing as before”
> at about 5:38: (p. 10) “striking his breast in despair” (this line is at 5:50 and needs to be placed before)
for Act 2:
> at 2:12: (p. 26) “Theobald, to Hartman, aside”, missing Theobald here, since it is the beginning of his speech
> at 6:46: (p. 43) “Exeunt severally” – you say “severely”, but the meaning here is that there are several people exiting, not that they are exiting in a severe manner

That's fine -- I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something, so the PL isn't like "where's this line?" for 15 things each.ChuckW wrote: ↑January 11th, 2018, 7:54 pmI... think so? Holy crap, what's going on!
Welcome to the project, Roger and Craigos! Thank you so much for contributing. I appreciate the help and am glad to have these two quite pivotal roles finally cast.
You guys rock!
Anyone want to check out the last remaining roles? I promise, they're quite fun.
(And for the record, I do have plans to do more Baillie plays in the future. I'm particularly keen on doing The Dream, a weird, proto-Lynchian gothic drama where a series of prophetic dreams help a group of monks apprehend a killer. It's... pretty wild.)

Seriously. What a great performance.

CRAIG !!!! this is exactly what I was hoping for !!!! You got totally into the character of this twat LOL I was nearly split in half when you said "I care not for this boasting" when all he does is boasting
And the difference in his boastful behaviour at the beginning and then when he meets his father he is much less exuberant. Excellent nuances there.
Also no errors, nothing missing. This is a perfect PL ok. Looking forward to the next part. You do know you will not have a happy end, right ?
Thanks so much for taking on this part.

I can finally present you with Rudigere!
Well, the first two acts, anyway:

The other acts have been recorded, but still need to be edited. Will have them done and uploaded within a day.

Thanks Tomas! Another excellent performance. You sound so wonderfully devious.
