Hello lovely LibriVox people! My name is Sophie and I'm from Lincoln, UK. I'm really excited to be here and cannot wait to get started (after my 1 minute test is approved of course!)

Thank you Moniaqua. I haven't actually done my 1 minute test yet but hopefully in the next day or two once my kids are back at school and peace descends again!

Yes, it is so nice and - calm - at home when the kids are at school and husband at work, isn't it?

Hi! I'm always delighted to see a new English accent on the board! I love English accents - I wish I had one! ;)

Hello Sophie and WELCOME to LibriVox!! Like others have said, I love the English accent as well. I tried to fake it once, it went from "ello govner" then turned Scottish and at the end I think it was leaning towards Jamaican. Anyway, glad your here!
