Hello! I'd like to do section 15 The Most Curious Animal.

This is my first recording (I did my 1 minute test and was approved to record). I would like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue as Z.Z. Turner. Please let me know if you need any other info :D

Kind Regards,
Suzanne

Wonderful! I've added you to the catalogue. Just click on your name in the MW.
Section 15 is yours to record. Thanks for joining this project.

And, welcome to LibriVox

I always like to take a listen to readers I haven't heard before, so I sampled this.
Tech spec are fine except that you're ending silence is a little over 6 seconds and we like to keep it closer to 5, but not a huge deal. There is a repeated phrase right at the end, too, that needs to be clipped out, but I will let our DPL give you the official report

I love your reading style, and hope you will be recording lot more for LibriVox! (I have in for another of my new projects, so I feel good about that).

Thanks for your contribution! (Feel free to claim some more, if you like).

Before I assign these sections to you, Zach, I just want to know if you've resolved your recording problems. It seems you had problems with your recording volume on a previous project and weren't able to correct them, leaving several sections hanging for someone else to complete. I don't want to see that happen here, so let me know what you think.

Hi Wayne,

There is a repeat right before the 13:00 minute mark. Just delete that part, otherwise this is PL OK :)
"No; that's not Peter. That's the cat next door with the yellow eyes." The man who will not defend the honour of his cat cannot be trusted to defend anything"
I loved listening to your reading!
Thanks,

Ava Gonzales

OK. The Hum of Insects is Section 4, not 3, so I've put you in for 4,5 and 7. If this is incorrect, let me know.
Welcome to the project!
