COMPLETE[Plays] One Act Play Collection 010 - thw
Here's my old file of Hippolyta, it was PL OK as far as I remember.

And, because I can't resist: this is why you should edit stuff as soon as possible and not wait until the end of the year...

Leanne, you're an excellent busy senior well read
I do have some corrections to mention though:
> the sampling rate should be set to 44,100 Hz, yours for some reason has set itself to 48,000 did you change anything in your settings ? Usually they should stay the same, once set
> at the end of the play, you forgot 3 sentences:
SENIOR. What on earth have you been doing?
SENIOR. Poor dear! I'm going to make some fudge, that will make her feel better!
SENIOR. What did you call us back about?
> maybe it would also benefit a bit from noise-cleaning
thanks, and Happy New Year
Sonia
no the voice is ok, Philip, all these plays are gender neutral, even if in the original play it probably was an all-girls school I actually like this "crossdressing" touch. You should listen to Tomas as the second nun, he is excellent. Monty Python couldn't have done it betterDrPGould wrote:The Role of the Sophomore in Belles has been uploaded into the MW and is ready for PL.
If the voice doesn't fit in the mix, we'll reopen the casting.
I'll mark your part PL ok.
by now you must have arrived in 2018 as well, so happy New Year !
Sonia
PS I'm waiting for Kalynda to confirm her upload is a new file before I PL. I have a hunch she may have kept her old file as well.
You're welcome. I'm happy to be part of this wonderful play. I'm looking forward to future recordings. And Happy New Year to you, too!dlolso21 wrote:What Christmas did for Jerusha Grumble

I have uploaded First Nun to the MW it is the original version that was PL OK so I have marked it as that.
I am very sorry for all the trouble this has caused. When we finished Collection 09 it was decided that the two remaining plays would carry over to Collection 10. Belles of Canterbury was one of those plays. There were a couple of parts not read so it took a while to complete. I had not realised that the files would then be unusable having changed MC etc. Definitely a learning curve for when we are ready to start collection 11.
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has provided the files both old and new.
And thank you to everyone who is helping to keep this Collection afloat whilst I am absent.
People here on Librivox truly are amazing.
I hope that you all have a peaceful and prosperous 2018.
