Section 1 is PL OK except that you've forgotten to leave five seconds of silence at the end. Just generate those and it will be fine. A very sensitive, subtly expressive reading. I'm greatly looking forward to the rest of this.

Alright I will add the silence and upload that today. As for as the rest of the book, I can do it, however I will be away from my one and recording space from Sunday until Jan. 3, so I can't get too much done until I return. If that is not too much of an issue, and you all would like, I will gladly claim the rest of the book.

Run time of 9:39

Also, there is a sort of reverberation that I've noticed in that recording, so I've changed my recording space so that if you would like me to continue recording, it will sound cleaner.

thanks

As this is a group project you can claim a few sections at a time, rather than the whole book, so others have a chance as well. If you want to you can always start a solo of this book or any other pd books, there are more by this author what are not in the catalog yet. https://xenotropic.net/gutenovox/index. ... ib_gid=113 It is great to see someone so enthusiastic! I am sure you will do a fantastic job at whatever you chose :D

Sorry if my newness causes you any trouble, but if I start this as a solo project, then I would just send in one long recording of the whole book correct? If so then I will opt for that.

No trouble at all. this post, which you can also find on the launch pad, will tell you everything you need to know. you can record the whole thing and post it all at once, but usually a soloist will post a thread similar to this one, but set up for a solo, and as you record chapters you will put them in the MW for proof-listening. It will also be your job to fill in the MW as a soloist, but that is very easy to do. Good luck!

Alrighty, thank you for your help. I think for another book I would be interested in doing that, for now however, I'll stick to claiming the chapters that no- one else claims. Would it be okay if I went ahead and claimed chapters 2 and 3?

Sections 2 and 3 are yours! if is is a slow book you may end of with most or all of it anyways!

Hello,
I am going to record my claimed sections. I looked in the mw & noticed a discrepency. I claimed 12; Black Bess and not 14; the brother's grief. Please do make the correction in the mw. 12 & 13 are what I claimed on 12/29/2017
Thank you,
April

Sorry I have not responded in awhile. I was on Christmas vacation and on the last day of my vacation I came down with respiratory infection, which as you can imagine has impacted my ability to record. I have just today been able to record the two chapters, and should have them edited an submitted this weekend
