Do you have this in mind?

I was going to try and claim it myself and do the exact same thing. Looks good. Maybe bump up the color.

This project is now complete: https://librivox.org/little-miss-grasshopper-by-johanna-spyri/

How does the cover get added? Do I need to ask an admin, or something like that?

Does anyone know where to find a picture of just Abraham Lincoln from 1862? I'm trying to do the latest volume of his biography, but can't find one. :hmm:

Most of his 1862 photos seem to be in groups, meeting with generals etc. Maybe you could choose one where it is possible to crop out just Lincoln. This one, for instance, shows Linclon fairly well:

This portrait of just Lincoln, alone, also appears to be from 1862.

At the moment the claims list is not fully functional - it seems to be adding newly catalogued projects but not removing them when the cover is made . So you can claim the spaces until normal service is resumed

I have a photo of the author which might be of use to anyone who wanted to make a cover for the "Mushrooms on the Moor" project. If someone wants it (I took the photo myself) I think they will need to PM me their email so I can send it through. (I don't make covers myself or I'd do it!)

Can someone direct me toward a list of the rules that determine whether or not a painting is in the public domain? (Particularly the U.S.)
