Hi!
I am really sorry for the long delay...I had claimed section 1 and I can see it has been orphaned as the 2-month delay had passed. I had some serious problems with my computer but fortunately I have fixed them now. I had already recorded section one before my pc broke down and I managed to recover the recording from the previous HDD...I only need to edit and upload it. So, could you reassign section 1 to me, please? I promise I will upload it by the end of this week!
Best regards,
Simona

PL notes for:
sect 20 June 23-24 Roger Williams and the Founding of Providence

1-I hear a lot of background noise, is there a way to reduce it?

2- I need you to increase the silence at the end to 5 seconds.

Everything else is outstanding.

You can cut out some background noise in Audacity. Phil, one of our admins, has made some instructional videos including this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFSg9o37HMw

If you go to the wiki (at the top of the page there is a link) and search for "instructional videos" you will get a list of all that are available.

Pick a gap in your recording, then copy and paste it to the end. You may have to do this a couple of times til you get to the 5 seconds.
