ok let's start with Brianna...thank you for the re-upload and amplification, however you must have amplified by more than the required 6 dB because now it is over our accepted limit of 92 dB :(

Could you please reduce with -2 (minus 2) once more and reupload ? Then it should be fine.

Thanks

Sonia

ok Betty, sorry for the delay. Both sections wonderfully narrated :9: thank you so much. The stories were quite interesting, although I knew some aspects already, but not so many details. Also, no errors at all. Excellent job.

Both PL ok.

:)

P.S. only one small note concerning the file name, which is wrong. But since you have no other errors, no need to reupload, I'll change it manually later on.

and finally, Jim, your sections are also both PL ok :) I loved the quiet reading of Confucius' maxims. :9: And I think I would subscribe to almost any of them. A very wise man, Confucius.

What made my head spin was the explanation of this Chinese abacus  I need to further research the calculation method of that device.

Good job ! Thanks

I would like to claim the following sections
29, The Tartars and their customs, by Marco Polo
32 Jenghiz Khan, the 'perfect warrior', by D. Petis de la Croix
33 Jenghiz Khan captures Peking, by D. Petis de la Croix
42 A Chinese city at the end of the thirteenth century, by Marco Polo

I think that's enough for now LOL

and I finally had time to finish editing the huge introduction. Jim, whenever you have time, have fun listening to it :)

Recording time: 19:39 min.

I especially enjoyed the minute description of the two paintings immensely :9: I love paintings, so I had to look them up immediately to compare the descriptions, and Mrs Tappan really did a great job. These are the pictures in question, if you are interested as well:
