Hi Algy,

Do whatever suits you. It's all fine by me. I'll keep posting whenever I have something.

I'll intersperse PLing sections with other things, even though I know you've done all the hard work and are just waiting on me now. I find that, no matter how much I like a project or reader, if I have an extended session I'm simply not as sharp at the end of it as if I break it into parts. I'd rather take a few extra days now than rush and regret it.

Section 6 is PL OK.

You're probably right about Cowell. He wouldn't be the only one to wish someone from another culture and century were more explicitly like him, though.

I've got one note for section 4 (Pickering part one). The scan isn't perhaps 100% clear, so please do look at it before automatically making this correction and see if you read the same thing.

16.29-16.33. Second half of second footnote:
..."when quaffing [heard quailing] one seeth seated round him agreeable figures...

Notes for Pickering 2, section 5:

13.12-13.18. P. 5 (12) - I know this is rich coming from me, but there seems to be a slightly long silence. It has slight noises in it and it's between the main prose and the quoted stanza. Couldyou please double check this?

14.42-14.46. P. 5 (12). First couplet at bottom of page:
And e'en as the ruby mine, be fired [heard tired] by the ray serene.

22.06-22.10. P. 8 (15). Second stanza:
Sometime [heard sometimes] art manifest in Kosmic form and trace;

Three notes:

Section 7

4.22-4.25. P. 4 (574), third stanza:
The unselfish [heard selfish] heart feels bliss without alloy

Section 8

11.18-11.23. P. 8(88), stanza 15:
Through the unknown life's first dark day my soul
Did seek [I think I heard 'reach'] the tablet and the pen...

11.49-11.53. P. 8 (88), stanza 16:
Even all thou [heard that thou] hast in secret done is naught.

Sections 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are PL OK.

One note for section 2:

41.20-41.23. P. 15 (162), second stanza. Omission:
When with a voice for the moment [out] spake the cup

I usually keep files of projects I've PLed until they've been on the Internet Archive for a few days or have the cover up just as backup. I'm about to bin the Endymion files but wanted to mention it to you before I pressed delete. Do you have copies? I'm assuming you probably do but thought I'd ask.

Section 2 is PL OK. That should be everything - congratulations on a fascinating project.

I thought you had all your files, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
