[COMPLETE] Letters of John Keats to His Family and Friends - ke
Algy, very tardy thank you for the PL.
Note to all, I'll be delayed in continuing this project but will definitely continue it. For the time being I'll need to park it. I will check in periodically so no one has to wonder if it's abandoned.
Thanks so much,
Eva

If we do meet again, why, we shall smile;
If not, why then, this parting was well made.

Dur, yeah. Voice match was really awful on this one so I opted to read the letter again. Could you please possibly PL this from scratch?Algy Pug wrote: Letter 4

Mem.—Wednesday—
I think that mem. is actually an abbreviation of memorandum

Since I'm not doing word perfect, and stink at edits, I'd prefer to leave these as they are. I'll try for more accuracy going forward though, as I know you're very faithful to the text and I agree.Algy Pug wrote: Letter 7

Algy, thanks for the PL
I used dictionary.com for the Margate pronunciation, and they have [mahr'-git] as the first pronunciation for the Kent location.
http://www.dictionary.com/browse/margate
Do you think this is wrong? They are not the strongest on locations and I knew this was an area I would run into trouble (place names).
Does anyone care to weigh in if the mahr'-git pronunciation is wrong? I would have liked to use Oxford (Living) to decide this one but they only gave the pronunciation for a fish. I'll check that Learning dictionary in the future, I didn't know about that one.

Hello Kathrine, thanks for checking in
Honestly, I don't know if I will be able to get to the end because I have so much less time for LV then I did when starting, and am a really, abnormally slow recorder.
I won't know at all until this winter though 'cos I got no time at all really during the summer. More time will open up when it gets cold and dark, but is it enough for my painfully slow pace to get through, I don't know.
If we can wait for the cold months for me to find out, I'd like to see; if not, I'm okay with any other solution including cutting it loose or parking it. What do you think is best?
