The title in the MW indicates 30 not 31 for section 53.

In the mind, or consciousness of the Earth this flower first lay latent as a dream. Perhaps, in her consciousness, it nested as that which in us corresponds to a little thought.--A.Blackwood

Phew, that wasn't as bad as it might be. I was driving towards a finish of Purgatorio before Hallowe'en and much to my surprise it was the weirdest thing I have ever read or expect to read (that includes Revelations). Very in keeping with the season, but something of a shock. Anyway, the corrected file should be in now.

About the illustrations Amy - it's just I noticed off the cuff here are these Blake illustrations of Dante's Purgatorio looking like something out of Revelations (or maybe the other one, The Book of the Dead). In Librivox logic they will have been snapped up by others and you don't do repeats. They are ideal though. I suppose every Blake must have gone down by this time. Like every Shakespeare read.

Small point. I found a gift (for me) of the perfect complement for this piece - a long medieval poem (not that long) about a father mourning his dead girl child and her chiding him from beyond the grave as she is in the New Jerusalem, now, so what's his problem exactly? Quite beautiful and reminiscent of all these pieces, so I'll set that up after I'm done with this. Translated, and better than the version presently recorded on Librivox ALIMO. Will get back on that. For now, on with the editing. Two more (slowly) on the way.

64-65 PL OK.

Been hiking in Zion National Park for a week. Very scenic and much less crowded during the fall. It's been hard though to find time for these longer chapters. I should catch up today.
