Anyway, I've put this in the MW Ready for PL.
No one has come forward as a DPL yet, so we'll wait a while to see if we get a volunteer.

Hello -
I would like to read Section 18 - "Of Imperial Diets - Part I" and "Of Imperial Diets - Part II"
As a Lutheran and scholar of Dr. Luther, this would be a fantastic way in which to celebrate the 500th anniversary of his posting of the 95-Thesis.
My 1-minute test is completed and approved and I have already recorded a poem by Louis Untermeyer.

Yes, with Reformation Sunday just past, this is a timely piece. Did Luther actually nail the document to the door in Wittenburg, or is that just a figure of speech?
Anyway, these are yours to read. Don't forget the extra ending in the "outro" foe section 19 for the end of the book. Se the instructions in the initial post.
Thanks for giving this project a huge boost!

Thank you - I'll probably get started on this today. In answer to your question about Martin Luther actually posting his 95 Thesis to the Wittenberg Castle church door; although Dr. Luther did not write about this himself, it was reported by Phillip Melanchthon in his writings. There was no reason to doubt this as Mr. Melanchthon had nothing to gain from his report and it would not have been reported in order to make Dr. Luther more popular considering that he was already the most published author in all of Europe at the time (and, still holds that record today). In fact, posting the 95 Thesis on the church door would have been the most appropriate avenue for announcing the debate in an educational environment. For what it's worth, the debate never took place, at least not in the forum that Martin Luther had hoped for. What has led a number of historians to dispute the actual posting is that Martin Luther himself never mentioned it during his Table Talks, that we are aware of. Not to carry this on too far, when Martin Luther wrote his 95 Thesis, he certainly never intended it to be published to a wider audience considering the problems it would have created for him. An excellent book on this subject is "Brand Luther", written by Andrew Pettegree, Oct 2015.

Happy to see that we are almost full with only two sections remaining. I'll see if I can recruit a DPL.
And, Mark, thanks for the enlightening discussion!!
